Pai-Gow Poker from
Vegas Technology is a combination of Poker and a Chinese game called Pai-Gow. The traditional Pai-Gow game is played with domino-like tiles, and to adapt it for Americans and Europeans playing cards were used along with the ranking of hands that correspond to poker. This is how Pai-Gow Poker was developed.
Play
Pai-Gow Poker.
Pai-Gow Poker is played with a 52 card standard deck with one Joker. You receive 7 cards; a 5 card "High hand" and a 2 card "Low hand", also called the second highest. Your goal is to beat the dealers hands. The Joker is not used as a wild card, but to complete a straight, flush, or straight flush, and is otherwise counted as an Ace.
Pai-Gow Table Limits and Payouts:
* Your wager will range between $1.00 and $200.00 for each hand.
* Upon winning, you will win even money, less a 5% commission
* If you lose or tie, a commission is not collected
Pai-Gow Buttons:
* The 'Chips' button increases and decreases your wager
* The 'Deal' button deals the cards
* The 'Clear bets' button clears your current wager
* The 'Done' button allows you to proceed to the next step of the game
* The 'House Way' button allows the computer to efficiently put together your High and Low hands.
* The 'Rebet' button allows you to keep the same bet and have different cards dealt.
Play
Pai-Gow Poker.
Play Pai-Gow Poker game flow:
Place your wager in the betting circles and click 'Deal'. The counter chooses a number between 1 and 7 which decides where the cards are to start being dealt. The dealer is position 7. Seven cards are dealt to everyone. Your cards and the dealers are kept, all others are discarded. Your cards will be face up and the dealers are face down. Decide on your low hand by left clicking on them, to unselect, click them again. You can also choose 'House Way' to choose your cards for you. Your goal is to have your hands rank higher than the dealers hands. If you have one higher and one lower or equal, it is called a Push and your wager is returned to you. In any other scenario, you lose your wager. If your hand and the dealers hands are the same value, it is called a copy and the dealer wins. To play again, click 'Rebet' then 'Deal'.
