A roulette wheel is divided into two sections. There is the number layout section and the outside chances section. In the number section, there are 40 spots on the wheel starting with double zero and ending with 38.

The outside chances section is further broken down into two smaller sections. There are six 1:1 bets of red, black, odd, even, high and low numbers. Next there are six 2:1 bets of three columns and three dozen bets.
