Baccarat is played using eight standard decks of 52 cards each of which are shuffled after every game. The main aim of Baccarat is to make a prediction as to whose hand (either the Banker's or Yours), will be closest to the value of nine. Furthermore you can bet on the possibility of a tie. Winning hands in High Limit Baccarat are determined by the hand you bet on, and whether or not that hand wins. If the hand you bet does win, the payout is Banker's Hand Wins 2x the bet - 5% commission for the House, Player's Hand Wins 2x the bet, Tie 8x the bet.

In the event that you bet on a tie, the payout is eight times the amount you bet. If you bet on the Banker's hand, and you win, the house charges commission of 5%. In the case that you bet on a hand, and the hand loses, you lose your bet. If you do not bet on a tie, and the hands do in fact tie, your bet is returned to you.
When playing a face down game you can peek at the cards dealt to you. The way in which you can peek at a card is by dragging your mouse over an edge of a card. The value and suit are removed from the corners of the card. The value of the card is determined by the amount of pips that are displayed. A Pip is the mark on the face of a card which gives you the value of the card. When you have finished peeking at the cards you should then, in order to continue, click on the Flip button. It must be pointed however out that if you are betting on a Tie then you do not get the chance to peek at the cards.
