888 Shows Fine Performance in Last Quarter Report
888 Holdings, the Gibraltar-based online casino company, has reported an excellent year in 2007 overall, after the revenues for the final quarter of 2007 were revealed this week. Earnings in the last three months of the year showed a remarkable increase of 55 percent, bringing in a grand total of $63 million. The most profitable size of 888 Holding's business is undoubtedly its casino gaming, showing a 60 percent increase to $35 million. One of the main factors contributing to the casino gaming division's success is the launching last year of the company's highly successful 888ladies bingo site.
Since leaving the US market in 2006 following the UIGEA, 888 Holdings has ventured successfully into the Latin American and Asian markets. The company has also managed to enter the poker sector, showing a 17 percent turnover rise in its poker division in the last quarter of 2007 as well.
