Mobile gambling continues as growth sector
A new report by Global Betting and Gaming Consultants has revealed that revenue from gamblers placing bets through their mobile phones has grown by 29 per cent a year, with that rate set to increase in the foreseeable future. Although they account for less than 1 per cent of total gambling revenue,
mobile gambling was identified as the fastest growing platform for bookmakers such as Ladbrokes, Betfred and Bet365 and National Lottery operator Camelot.
