Cryptologic Secures Scandinavian Poker Deal

Cryptologic has expanded its products into the Scandinavian market following the signing of an exclusive three-year deal with the new poker site, OPoker. Under the terms of the new deal, Cryptologic will provide the site with customer support services, business service support, ecash management and all its poker software. Cryptologic, through its online software development arm, Waterlogic, already provides products to sites such as William Hill, Playboy and the World Poker Tour.

CryptoLogic's President and CEO, Brian Hadfield said: "Today's announcement is consistent with our strategic imperative of adding liquidity and strengthening the CryptoLogic poker network within Europe, including Scandinavia. CryptoLogic's partnership with OPoker shows that even while we grow into other parts of the world, we're also expanding in our core European market."

"The combination of CryptoLogic's technical solutions and OPoker.com's industry knowledge and expertise make this partnership a natural fit," added Justin Thouin, CryptoLogic's Vice President.
