NetPlay Ready to Launch Live Blackjack

After acquiring Channel 848 from Hollywood TV on the Sky Broadcasting network, NetPlay is ready to launch its long-awaited live blackjack product to complement its hugely successful Live Roulette offering. NetPlay was forced to buy an existing channel after Sky banned the launching of any new channels under a new policy, and it paid Hollywood TV in shares to the value of GBP 475,000.

"Having a dedicated channel next door to our successful 'Live Roulette' channel on Sky 847 makes perfect sense, allowing our customers to easily flick between channels depending on which game they want to play. Adding new Sky channels has over recent months, following Sky's decision not to allow any new channels to be launched, become extremely difficult. The acquisition of Sky Channel 848 strengthens our position as the leader in 'Live' interactive TV gaming even further," said Martin Higginson, Chief Executive of NetPlay.
