King Solomon's Two Software Platforms

For reasons that have not yet been disclosed, one of the internet's most popular online casinos, King Solomons, has issued a statement saying that the site will essentially operate off two software platforms. While King Solomons has traditionally been powered by Real Time Gaming, it was announced that a new domain would allow players to access a Playtech-powered online casino of the same name.

A statement issued by the site said: "The RealTime Gaming platform will still operate for players that prefer that platform and will be based at KSOnline, nothing else at the casino will change. The domain King Solomons .com will be used for the new Playtech platform."

Responding to charges that the company did not bring these changes to the attention of their players via email, a spokesman for the site said: "We tread a fine line when doing things of this nature. If we don't e-mail our players, we get asked why we didn't e-mail them. If we do, we could be accused of trying to switch over players to a new software and, thus, decimate the earnings of our marketing partners, so it's a no-win situation that we find ourselves in."
