New Headset can Read Gambling Minds

Hold those thoughts! A technology company, Emotiv, has announced that a mind-reading headset will be put on sale this year that could essentially change the way that we play at our favorite online casino. The advanced Epoc headset will act on mental impulses in the player's brain and perform a host of activities that will be reflected during the online gambling session.

The headset will be able to read facial expressions such as grimaces, smiles and winks, and transfer them to the player's online avatar, allowing others to see what the player is really thinking. In addition, by picking up electrical activity from the brain, the Epoc will even be able to transfer simple thoughts such as 'drop' and 'lift' to facilitate control games.

Tan Le, President of Emotiv said: "[Epoc] allows the user to manipulate a game or virtual environment naturally and intuitively."
