Microgaming Comments Again on Tusk License Termination
Tusk Investment Corporation Limited, a company with a firm foothold in the gambling industry through sites and affiliates, recently had its eCOGRA 'Fair and Safe' seal retracted, following the discovery of irregularities through a routine check. Tusk was forced to seek liquidation and informed
Microgaming of the process, leading to a termination of the software license agreement between the two.
Microgaming has now followed up on a previous announcement regarding the issue, following the call for assistance by many players who hold accounts at Tusk sites. A statement read over the weekend said: "Microgaming has unfortunately heard nothing further from Tusk itself, and has yet to be advised of the details of the appointment of a liquidator for Tusk. Until a liquidator advises on Tusk's financial position and ability to pay players and to pay Tusk's white labels and affiliates, Microgaming is unable to assess the situation. This position is quite separate from the Microgaming Poker Network as a whole, which continues to operate as before. Microgaming will of course continue to keep people informed as the situation unfolds."
