New UK Casino Site to be Launched

Genting, the Malaysia gambling and leisure group that bought Stanley Leisure in the United Kingdom, has announced that it has launched a brand new online gaming site in the country, Circus Casino. The site was up and ready for business on Friday.

Industry experts believe that Genting is using Circus Casino as a testing site to see whether the company will eventually be able to branch out into the flourishing Asian internet gambling industry. "This is obviously a good opportunity in its own right, but it allows you to play around and trial a lot of things to prepare you if Asia opens up," said an industry source.

Genting has the market advantage of owning a huge customer base thanks to its leisure and gambling interests in the land-based industry. It will target these gamblers, as well as others through marketing promotions.
