The Excitement of Playing European Roulette
Learning to
play European roulette is simple. This game has been a favorite of casino games since the 17th century in France and easy to learn to play. The beauty of this random number game is that there are so many betting options, you can wager at your own risk level and have pretty good odds of winning. Although it is a random game and luck counts, learning to place the correct bets also helps.
A roulette table generally takes no more than 8 players, but every casino have plenty of tables, and when you play online, things are just a little different. With new
multi-player roulette games the online versions are getting much more exciting though.
The European version of the roulette wheel has 36 number slots and one for the zero, making in total 37 numbers, in red and black. Experts say that the odds of winning are better because American roulette also has a double zero number pocket.
Every player is issued with a different color chips and these are purchased at the table. The chips usually have a value printed on them, and the table has a grid of the number you are able to wager on, as well as special wagering features. You can bet on the red or the black, any number, splits of number, where the number will land within certain parameter and even odds or evens.
As soon as all bets are placed, the croupier spins the wheel and launches the ball, players can continue to bet while the wheel spins, until the croupier says "no more bets". When the wheel stops, and the winning number is revealed, the croupier pays out all winners according to the odds they are entitled to. They clear the losing bets and, everyone goes onto the next round. This game is exciting to say the least and really doesn't take a lot to learn. You can even play free online, just to get the gist of it!
