Vikings vs. Packers Preview

Long time Green Bay Packer, Brett Favre, will make his much anticipated return to Lambeau Field quarterbacking the Minnesota Vikings. As a Packer, Favre won three MVP awards and a Super Bowl, but his tenure came to a tumultuous end when the Packers refused to give Favre his starting position after coming out of retirement in 2008. Favre's back-up Aaron Rodgers became the starter of the Packers, and Favre was shown the door. After a lost season with New York Jets, Favre signed with the Minnesota Vikings this season, a division rival of the Packers.

This has angered Packer fans so much so that Favre will not be receiving the standing ovation he deserves. One fan is selling t-shirts with the slogan "Watching Favre play for the Vikings is like watching your girlfriend cheat on you." Favre lit up the Vikings defence in the first meeting between these two teams. Is a repeat performance on the road on the horizon? Packers fans are hoping for just the opposite for their once beloved quarterback. Place your bets at Tower!
