What exactly are live slots tournaments?
Playing in a live slots tournament is just like playing a regular online slot game, except you are competing against other players in "high speed" games that generally run for 5-10 minutes. The main aim is to have the highest credit amount at the end of the allotted time.
How many different types of slots tournaments are there?
You have a choice of the following 3 types of online slots tournaments:
Free Play (Also called a Free Roll)
Play for free to win the Prize Pool in credits. There is no limitation on the number of players.
Scheduled Games
Scheduled tournaments start at a certain time and normally require the payment of an entry fee. The entry fee includes your credits to play. The rounds last from 5 - 15 minutes or until your credits are used up, at which point you may either leave the tournament or opt to continue playing. When continuing, you may be required to pay a "Continue Play" entry fee. Continue Play rounds are generally shorter than the normal round and are limited. Game specific information can be found in the "Rules" section of the game.
Sit and Go Games
Sit and Go tournaments differ slightly from scheduled tournaments. Where scheduled games start at a certain time, sit and go games start based on players, and are a lot faster. The game starts when the required number of players have registered and paid the entry fee. Game play is identical to Scheduled games, expect games last one round only (there are no Continue Play rounds) and are generally 5 minutes long.
