Gumballs come up to 88a (which is harder the o'tang in heats 83,80) I have that kind and the slide so easy from the 1st time u EVER use them till there perfectlly brokin in

that's probably because you put the o-tangs or big-zigs on there right? unless you ARE adam colton then having round lipped wheels will make it alot easier to slide (i.e. the abec11 gumballs)

Dude vanguards are just as able to do tricks as a lot of other longboards, it may be a little more difficult but even bigspins are doable on a vanguard...watch louis pilloni's old videos. But you will like your dervish a lot too.

i have a vanguard, but its only good for carving. its not to great for anything else unless your name is Adam. lol but i have a dervish on the way!

but it was getting fun xD, everyone is different, theres people that like to cruise along the road and enjoy their face living another day on this earth with their longboard and others who are downhill monster crushers. so its all good and I will continue riding the terrain on a vanguard since it performes like a beast eating cement stroller xD

both of you guys stop arguing like little girls. i personally prefer the dervish, but the van is great in its own respect. i like the dervish better because it slides easier and is a great all around board, plus the drop through trucks make it really comfortable. don't argue over loaded boards and just enjoy riding.

ive ridden both a lot and the vanny is way more fun to pump and carve but when it comes down to the type of longboarding I do(sliding, dancing, flatland, etc...) derv is better by a longshot
