The road is better through leyton, so you can go a lot faster. Lea bridge road is full of potholes. As for the drivers being dicks, you're right, but all the dickhead drivers are evenly distributed everywhere, no matter what route you take!

why do you ride through layton? all the drivers are dicks, better off going down lea bridge road to clapton and then down to the city !

I use quite thick tyres, I just pump them up to about 70PSI.

Hi, so did you do your charity ride? The vid really shows the crap cycle lane arrangements. If you want to get anywhere, pull out and put your foot down and getpast all that static traffic. You can't pick your way through on the inside. it would be quicker walking.

I used an ATC2K for that vid. I now use a 4KAM, which is much higher quality. The ATC2K is pretty good, mind. I hear the archos is not too bad either, but you need to keep the recorder somewhere and it's not very good with lots of movement.

Riding in a city like London must be crazy! I bike commute in the suburbs, and I get scared.Cool video. Are you using tha Archos helmet cam?

Overtaking on the right is the correct way to do it. Undertaking on the left is usually more dangerous and less sensible, and leads to the undertakers.
